fantastic service!
I went to the bluebird last night on a date with my girlfriend, and after seeing all the reviews I can see why this place is so highly rated. The atmosphere, the comfort of the dining room, the service, the food was all fantastic. We had a full three-course meal with an awesome glass of wine. I must say this is a great way to start 2026 and will definitely be coming back often.

AMAzING DISCOVERY!
First time at the Bluebird Café and I am so glad to have discovered this spot! First off the vibe is cozy and inviting! The food was amazing, I had the chicken parmesan...Delicious! Also tried all the other plates my friends ordered and they all hit! To me what often makes or breaks an experience is the service and our server Melody was amazing, attentive and wonderful! Could not recommend this place more and will be back in the near future!

truly one of a kind place with exceptional service and food that leaves you speechless. the service was amazing, the food was served fast & beautifully, the steaks were the best we've had, and topping it off with a delicious creme brulee was just a highlight of the day. will recommend this place to everyone i know! such a gem :)

LOVELY LOCAL BUSINESS!
We ordered takeout for 10 people on Dec 27th….the order was perfect!!! Everyone so pleased with the quality and quantity of food. Pick up staff was very accommodating…even brought the takeout to our car. Everything was well labeled and packaged. And really enjoyed the personal notes on the packaging. Love supporting local small businesses! You will see us again! (Wish we had a Bluebird in Brantford!!

WONDERFUL SERVICE!
The atmosphere from the time we walked in was welcoming the owner was there to greet us and they then offered to hang up our coats when we arrived at our table. Now that's service. Our server was so wonderful and kind. He was attentive but not intrusive and was there when we needed him. We ordered our food and it was all outstanding and flavourful. They warn that they make to order and it may be longer than usual for the food to arrive. I say it wasn't much longer and well worth the wait. During our meal the owner again stopped by our table to check on our experience. What a lovely guy!!! Definitely great value. Huge portions and as we had a reservation we honestly had zero wait time. Definitely going back there again.

friendly staff and great fOOD!
We dropped by here right at supper hour on a Saturday night with no reservations. Fortunately we got the last two spots at the bar. The owner was hospitable. The bartender hospitable. So refreshing to go to a dining establishment and have the staff be enthusiastic and engaged throughout your dinner! All the staff were friendly and could not do enough for us. The mixed drinks. The food was simply great. Everything arrived in timely fashion. Hot and made as per order. We are an hour away from Orangeville but this is the kind of place we would gladly make a reservation and drive up to for dinner.

excellent menu!
Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and it’s an absolute must. Menu choices are great and food was some of the best I’ve ever had. Courtney was our waitress and she was fantastic, knowledgeable and made the experience fantastic. We had soup of the day which was potato, leek with parmesan, goat cheese crostini app, pasta of the day which was sausage, vegetables in an angel hair pasta with a roasted red peppers sauce and the ravioli with roasted garlic, sun-dried tomatoes & Asiago cheese served in a light pink sauce with roasted sweet red peppers, onions, topped with roasted almonds. Food was excellent and I would highly recommend.

Amazing fOOd and amazing staff!
I cannot say enough good things about Bluebird. My husband and I went there for the first time last night and the food was out of this world. Just when you think things can’t get better their staff is absolutely exceptional. Sabrina went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable and Rick the owner went out of his way to come by and chat up our table. Both made us feel extremely special and I can confidently say we have found our new date spot! Thank you Bluebird staff !

We lOve it here!
The food is so good, hats off to the chef..presentation is everything! The menu is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The service is top notch, the staff makes you feel welcomed and always ready to make suggestions, with their menu. (I gotta meet the chef!!!) The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Make sure to make a reservation. When you find a place like this, it will be your go to! This place is always busy! Highly recommend.

JUST WONDERFUL!
Been here more than 4 times within a year after we found this place and we live in Toronto. So you can imagine how much we love this place😂 Always be greeted with lovely people and joyful environment and of course the food! Fabulous! Portion is also generous! Orangevilles Bluebird Cafe, a hOnest review
An absolutely fantastic evening. Our night started with Rick (owner) warmly escorting us to our chairs and taking our coats, making us feel welcome and appreciated. He showed a real interest during conversation, and was very warm and extremely courteous to us both. Being british, I have been fortunate enough to have eaten in a few very nice restaurants, all over Europe, and Rick easily compares to the best standard of maitre d' that they offered. We were then looked after by one of the Bluebirds team named Skyler, who to be quite honest, was a complete gem. She happily listened to every question, giving concise information and also recommending items that ended up not only being delicious, but something that we will happily add to our meal going forward. Skyler was attentative, but not overbearing like some restaurants, where you can barely take a mouthful of food before being asked how your meal is. This shows she is observant of all the patrons, and chooses her time to provide a better meal experience when it actually appropriate. She deserves top marks.
The arrival of my meal was a joy to all my working senses, it smelled so good, looked absolutely incredible, and tasted mouth-wateringly delicious, showing the quality and care put into your meal by the chef team, who obviously know they are appreciated by the completely empty plates that return to the kitchen once the meal is over. The starter and entree were perfectly timed and spaced for us both, making sure we didn't feel rushed, but also not taking forever in between coursed.
On hearing it was our anniversary, we were sent two complimentary glasses of bubbly, these are the touches that make a restaurant, not good, but great. My entree consisted of a 12oz striploin cooked medium rare, which arrived cooked to perfection.
We have been coming to this restaurant since 2019, when Michelle and Rick Arsenault took over the ownership of the name. Please note that any reviews before April 2019 are the previous owners, who in my opinion were not great. Rick and Michelle on the other hand have turned this business into a warm, friendly place, where you actually feel like family. They are an asset to Orangeville, and long may they be here to add quality and friendship to this town.

Every bite was AMAZING!
We came to celebrate my colleagues birthday on Tuesday, November 21st at 4:45pm. It was both of our first time dining here and I’m blown away. Every bite was AMAZING! We started with the mozzarella, then calamari, our mains we shared which were the charred 12 oz steak and the seafood pasta! Again, everything was flavourful, hot and great portions. We definitely had more than enough food and we were stuffed! Our drinks were great as well, Caribbean café and the blue bird (very tropical). I’m sad my colleague had to get home or else we would have done dessert .

Absolutely fantastic FRESH food, very friendly staff, and pleasant ambience. Meal portions are extremely large and best of all the prices were better than reasonable. I highly recommend trying this eatery, you will not be disappointed.

JUST WONDERFUL!
Absolutely amazing dinner, such a friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The pasta was the best we’ve ever had and we will definitely be coming back again soon!! The staff were all so friendly; we were welcomed at the door and had a kind gentleman take our jackets and personally thank us for coming in and asked how our meal was. You don’t get that kind of service at a chain restaurant. Authentic and classic charm :)
